she squeezed tight –
in her hand;
with every cut,
she learned –
a little more.

Talida loves dark poetry and children’s literature. She writes poetry and short stories but mostly reads history books and historical fiction. She spends her time with her special needs son and supports her daughter. She dreams of wrapping the world in stories that bring awareness and hope.
